Last episode of the Cretan Chronicles

Well, you have suffered enough reading my ramblings of starting a new life abroad over the past 9 months or so, so it is time to draw this tittle-tattle to a conclusion (now there's an old-fashioned phrase).
Rufus continues to thrive in his new surroundings and the neighbouring sheep still think that he is a little black lamb, and treat him accordingly. He has more freedom than he ever did in the UK, though he doesn't get his routine daily walks. He is happy to bark at passing pick-ups selling vegetables or fish etc., as they use megaphones to advertise their wares.

Buffy has taken on a new lease of life since her treatment for hyperthyroid by our Cretan Vet. She now bounds around the garden and leads Rufus a merry dance at times, but in the evenings enjoys lazing next to the somba.

So I will continue by just posting a few photos of out life here, now we have a better internet link, which I hope will be a little more interesting.

  • Bob,

Thank you for sharing your new life with us all - I have enjoyed reading of your adventures and feel sad there will be no more. You are still remembered and greatly missed over here - but you probably know that already!

    Best wishes for 2008
