Hi ho, Hi ho it's off to Crete we go

...well not exactly, but all our worldly belongings disappear in a Pickfords van tomorrow. Originally it was 3-5 weeks estimated transport time by sea, revised to 8-10 days overland, which has totally thrown our timetable.
So it's hello mobile home as temporary accommodation before we catch the first direct flight ot the "big island" in March.
Costs mount for the grand move but at least the arrangements for the dogs using Air Pets in the UK and Jayne picking them up in Crete seem to be fixed.
All we need now is t0 get the keys to the house and wonder if the post redirected to the village will still be awaiting collection or be more useful in someone's somba.
As my laptop departs as well, there will be a husheed silence for the time being
